Adam Savage Stunned by the National Parks' Private Collection

Adam Savage gets exclusive access to the National Park Service’s (NPS) massive history collection, a climate-controlled vault at their museum conservation lab containing more than 100 years of U.S. history. Join Adam and NPS archivist Nancy Russell in Room 118 as they explore the archives, from the original uniform pieces that defined the "ranger" look to deeply personal artifacts that tell the story of the people who shaped our national parks. (And, yes, Adam particularly loved seeing the evolution of the iconic Stetson ranger hat.) This concludes our National Park Service series. We'd like to extend a special thanks to the National Park Service Museum Conservational Lab for opening their doors and sharing these incredible stories with us. Support our parks!
