Hanging Rock & the Revolutionary War in South Carolina

After the fall of Charleston, the British under Lord Cornwallis began setting up outposts all throughout the backcountry of South Carolina. The northernmost outpost was at a place called Hanging Rock. It was here where the Patriots under Thomas Sumter would strike back and begin a guerrilla war that would grind the British and the loyalist militia down. This episode was produced in partnership with The Gettysburg Museum of History.
