The bronze age Tumulus culture c. 1600 to 1300 BC of central Europe was a warrior society where the aristocratic warrior elite were buried with their bronze swords, daggers. While the women were buried with the most beautifully made bronze and gold bracelets, anklets, and armbands, stunning necklaces of amber and glass beads. These beautiful items were displays of the wealth and power of the women who wore them in life and in death.
